Welcome to the Carl Sandburg Middle School Orchestras!

The Carl Sandburg Middle School Orchestras include 3 orchestras -- String Ensemble,
Concert, and Symphonic -- with over 85 students in the program. More info. Students are
placed in orchestras based on ability. Students audition for a seat in Symphonic Orchestra.
Orchestra resources: Orchestra students page, orchestra calendar, summer camps, local
youth orchestra.
Incoming 7th grade and transfer students please visit our About the Program page.
Parents: we welcome your participation in events that help us raise money toward
maintaining and improving our award-winning orchestra program. Please see our Boosters
page.
Giving: if you would like to give a monetary or in-kind donation please visit our Patrons
page. We have photos of our instruments we would like to replace.

As we embark upon an extremely busy and important few weeks for our young musicians,
please read through your e-mails (and attachments, including letter, updated calendar,
Concert Orchestra Assessment info, and Symphonic Orchestra Assessment info) - and get
all of our upcoming dates on your calendar! Thanks, as always, for your support of our
Orchestra program.
